During our inspection of the Komatsu controller, we identified that the unit’s circuit board has sustained burn damage caused by a short circuit.

• The short circuit resulted in excessive current flow through the board.

• This caused localized overheating, which in turn damaged several components and the surrounding PCB material.

• The affected area shows visible burn marks and compromised tracks, meaning the controller cannot operate reliably in its current state.

For reliability and safety reasons, replacement is the only viable solution. Attempting to repair this board would not guarantee proper functionality and could lead to further equipment issues.

We recommend sourcing a new controller board to ensure your Komatsu equipment operates correctly and avoids future downtime.
